Pool Opening Update

Pool Opening Target Date is July 1st
All documents have been  created by Connie at Niemann & Heyer LLP and presented to the Board for corrections, additions, approval, and have been sent back to Connie.
Pool Key Access system has been scheduled and should be finished by Monday. Testing will be done as soon as possible for any issues.
New COVID-19 signs were delayed this week but will be installed next week.
Notice of Board Meeting will be announced early next week.

Here is the new sign to be posted at both gates at the pool. The boxes at the bottom are there so that as the state orders change we can update the sign.

Pool Opening Update

Pool Opening Date TBD but goal is within the next 2 at most 3 weeks
  Items in motion for pool opening:
1.     Waiver forms are being created by Connie at Niemann & Heyer LLP. Waiver will be presented to Board for approval. Completion date goal is for next week.
2.     Once Waiver form is approved, form can be emailed and/or found on website to download, fill out, send back to CMA. CMA will then send homeowners a laminated Waiver Card that is your proof of completion and be taken with you to the pool each time. CMA will then be able to add your pool key info into list to be activated the day the pool opens.
3.     New Pool Rules and Pool Hours. Pool Rules are being created by Connie at Niemann & Heyer LLP. Rules will be presented to Board for any changes and then approval at a Board Meeting giving homeowners 72 hour notice of meeting. Completion date goal is for next week.
4.     Pool Key Access system is scheduled for install next week by VIPER SOLUTIONS. Once installed all key cards will be transferred into new system. Completion Date goal of installation is next 7 business days.
5.     Reduction of pool furniture is scheduled for early next week by CMA.
6.     New COVID-19 Signs to be added to both gates at pool by CMA next week.
7.     Getting access to the pool. Once Waiver form is approved, the form can be emailed and/or found on website to download, read, sign, and return to CMA by scan/email, fax or snail mail. CMA will then be able to add your pool key info into the list to be activated the day the pool opens. CMA will then mail you a waiver card that must be in your possession every time while at the pool.
8.     Due to cost and
having to decrease pool hours, there will not be a monitor at the pool. Occupancy limiting and social distancing will be solely the responsibility of the home owner.

From our understanding Gov. Abbott is going to have an update on June 3rd for his Open Texas. We will then discuss a safe opening strategy.

Continued HOA Swimming Pool Closure

Due to the continued concerns of COVID-19, the Oak Creek Pool and Clubhouse will remain CLOSED until further notice. The Oak Creek Board and Certified Management of Austin will continue to monitor and reevaluate our city and state guidelines so that we can safely re-open our amenities. We will take another look at the end of May as we continue to monitor safe opening strategies.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday, April 27, released his report to Open Texas, a guide to gradually bring state businesses back to life in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Phase 1 of Open Texas begins Friday, May 1.

Oak Creek Action Plan for Facility Operations re: COVID -19
Due to the growing concerns and questions regarding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the following action plan must be immediately and consistently put in place with common area facilities.
Swimming Pool, Clubhouse, and Outdoor Playscape Area Temporary Closures
• The HOA Swimming Pool, Clubhouse and Playscape Area are closed until further notice. Pool Keys will be temporarily deactivated.
• No use or activities are allowed to take place at the outdoor HOA Playscape and Public Areas during this time.
• Restrooms within the pool area will remain closed during this time.
• Any current reservations of the Clubhouse have been canceled. Members with cancelled reservations will be contacted for a refund or to reschedule once a re-open date is determined.
• During this period of closure all facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected above and beyond currently standard protocol.
It is paramount that everyone adheres to the CDC guidelines and that we take these additional steps at this time to further prevent the potential spread of this highly communicable virus.
